Ancient Egyptian civilization is often credited with the discovery of Geometry. They also invented new and efficient forms of multiplication and division, which the Greeks adopted over their own systems.
Pharaohs would give equal pieces of land to their servants and workers to grow crops. They would tax their land yearly, but sometimes the land would be damaged by the over flow of rivers thus causing the workers to lose a portion of their crops and income. The pharaohs recognized this and would exclude the damaged land from the taxes since it wouldn't be fair to pay full price for land they couldn't use. So the pharaohs had to use math to calculate how much land had been lost and adjust the price of their taxes per individual person.
the ancient egyptians affected mathematics in a way as there wouldn't be no mathematics without the egyptians
math is a hard subject to learn but yet it the far most used remedial general education subject used in the the world today
Greeks developed geometry to help teach logic. This is why we must do proofs in geometry.
Math is a language not a science. Better stated Math is a pure language. In addition, math is used to model a science and eventually draw conclusion from it.
Roman numerals! we use roman numeral clocks...etc. hope that helped!!
They called it Mare Nostrum (Our Sea) because they controlled most of the territories surrounding it and the islands in it.Another term used by historians is to call it a "Roman Lake".
Math and Science: Exploring the Today and Beyond
egyptians use symbols as we use numbers.they still are using symbols for math at this very day!
surveyor is a social studies term. used by the ancient Egyptians
for math- they used symentry in their paintings
Yes, they did. A common misconception is that their science was mostly about mummification, but they understood math, engineering, astronomy, and a lot more.
History, physical science, math & religion (:
for math they made fractions and the number system based on ten........ and im still trying to figure out science sry

Science and engineering tend to be fairly easy if you are good at mathematics. There are other factors that will have significant influence, so there's no way to besure of what your experience is likely to be if you're good at math. But we can befairly sure that if you're not good at Math, then Science and Engineering will almostcertainly be hard for you.
