If it is about the greek philosophers then they helped us in academics. Example: Hippocrates was known as the father of medicine. All doctors must take the hippocrates oath before becoming a doctor. The oath tells that you will not kill the patients and provide as much as you can to treat their illness

∙ 14y agoIn my view, the principal achievement from ancient Greece that still influences us is the idea of democratic government - government by the people, versus government by dictators, monarchs who inherited the position, religious authorities, etc.
