Faith is one of the most important driving force. In intercaste marriages this may cause problems. While raising children this may become very serious. To which religion will they belong? They may hate religion and even God. Since both of them come from entirly different culture, they may find it very difficult to adjust and live a harmonious life. Practicing two religious worship systems can create a mess in the family. Marriage is a relationship between two families not two persons. The family and the society may not accept a different system or faith. When problem comes both systems will hesitate to extend a helping hand, or both may fight to help. Finally they may end up in utter confusion and start hating religion and god. This may end up in divorce, homicide or suicide.

The advantage is the fact that people are able to love who they choose to. A disadvantage is that they may be a target for racists.
