You have to beat the forest temple and go back to the sword pedestal in the temple of time. Talk to sheik and he'll let you put the sword back. If that doesn't work, try after beating the water temple.

Judah was formed as one of the twelve tribes of Israel, traditionally traced back to Judah, the fourth son of Jacob and Leah. Following the Israelites' exodus from Egypt and their conquest of Canaan, the tribe of Judah settled in the southern part of the region, which eventually became known as the Kingdom of Judah. This area played a significant role in biblical history, particularly as the center of Jewish life, culture, and religion after the split of the united monarchy into the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of Judah.
The revolt by the Jews that won back Jerusalem and the temple from Greek rule is known as the Maccabean Revolt, which occurred between 167 and 160 BCE. Led by the Maccabee family, particularly Judah Maccabee, the uprising was a response to the oppressive policies of the Seleucid Empire, including the forced Hellenization of the Jewish people. The revolt culminated in the rededication of the Second Temple in 164 BCE, an event celebrated during the festival of Hanukkah. This victory restored Jewish sovereignty in Jerusalem for a time and allowed for the practice of Judaism without foreign interference.
The Maccabees revolted against the Seleucid occupiers of Jerusalem and founded an independent Jewish kingdom. The Zealots rebelled against the Roman occupiers of Jerusalem (in 68) and tried to found an independent Jewish kingdom. Rome came back in force in the year 70 to 72 and smashed them.
