my mom says it is kind of easy i think before you get your licence you have to take a test about the driving law
No. Look at Vehicle Code sections 12500 through, say, 12954. It can be some pretty ghastly reading, but those sections will explain all of the rules and regulations pertaining to learner's permits (as well as some other junk that doesn't apply to you). You will not see any requirement that you present a hard copy of your permit when you apply for your permanent CDL. The DMV clerk is going to run your name through the State's database whether you have a hard copy or not, to determine if you are entitled to the permanent license.
hard copy or print out
yes you do... the only thing you have to wait for is when you take your actual drivers license test is your hard license with your picture on it. before that it looks just like your permit just a couple things are differrent. ACTUALY when you go take the drivers test if you can get your gaurdian to wave the test you just have to sign a paper and pass the vision test and you will be able to walk out of there with a legal paper saying you can drive by your self... hope this helps
