The number of consecutive days that can be worked without a day off depends on the state in which the work is done. For example, in New York State no more than 13 consecutive days is permitted, but in Oklahoma, only 6 consecutive days are permitted.

This seems to be the applicable law:

Sec. 53-303e. More than six days employment in calendar week prohibited. Employee remedies.

(a) No employer shall compel any employee engaged in any commercial occupation or in the work of any industrial process to work more than six days in any calendar week. An employee's refusal to work more than six days in any calendar week shall not constitute grounds for his dismissal.

How many consecutive days can be worked until a day off is required in Michigan?

According to the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, "If you are 18 years of age or older, the employer has the right to schedule however they feel they need you. There is no minimum or maximum number of hours." In short, there is no requirement to give you a day off at all. They can have you come in every day for six months - or six years. However, you do get overtime once you hit 40 hours in a 7-day period. However, there are some exceptions, generally related to things out of your control. You must be given time off for jury duty, for family leave and for certain other causes. But other than that, your employer can have you work as many consecutive days as it wants to.

What are consecutive days?

Consecutive means one thing following another in a predetermined order. For people working five days a week, Saturday and Sunday are usually their days off. Since Sunday follows Saturday on the calendar, Saturday and Sunday are called consecutive days off. If the following Monday is a holiday, then Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be consecutive days off. If a person works Monday and Tuesday and has Wednesday off, then works Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and has Sunday off, that person does not have any consecutive days off.
