I'm 13 years old and live in Nevada - my mom and I both want me to be declared emacipated but is it even legal and where could I get a job to save up my money?

To apply for emancipation, you would have to prove you can be self supporting, and there is no way a 13 year old can be self supporting. Even if you were financially, there is no way a judge would allow a 13 year old to live on his or her own. That's what emancipation means, to be free from the "rule" of custodial adults. So, to answer your first question, the answer is no. To answer your second question, a 13 year old cannot work unless it's doing something like mowing yards, etc. But no business or company will hire you until you are 16 years old.
