When does the Nobel Peace Prize committee vote for the winner?

During the months of February and March the Nobel Committee reviews the candidates and shorten the list of nominees.

Between March and August the advisory committee reviews the shortened list of candidates.

In October the Nobel Committee choose the winner of the prize by a majority vote and the decision is announced.

The Nobel Prize ceremony takes place in December.
