This will be a judgement call you will have to make for yourself. On one hand, a 12 year old dog can still become pregnant, which presents the problem of what to do with the puppies. On the other hand, there is really no health benefit at this point - the dog's risk of mammary and uterine cancer have been set and spaying isn't likely to change this.

However, if your dog has been diagnosed with Diabetes or Cushing's disease, she should absolutely be spayed. Trying to manage either disease with the hormone fluctuations associated with cycling female is almost impossible.

if she is still having seasons then in theory she could get pregnant but you should ABSOLUTELY NOT breed a dog of that age it would be dangerous for her and the puppies would most likely be unhealthy and/or deformed.

it depends if the dog is spayed. if it is 15 years old it is tended to be that the male dog usually is 2 years or so older, if the female is 15 years old then the male would be 17 or so years old and the male's sperms are all gone, so the typical answer is NOT LIKELY.

i would say yes cause my dog was around 11 and 12 when she had hers but i would still ask your vet for the best answer

Yes it can but it would be a really bad idea to even try and get her pregnant
