depending on who she mates with she can have 2-5 pups the first time.
It really depends on the genetics of the specific animal. However - most 'first litters' are usually small - 3 or 4 puppies is the 'norm'.
A Komondor is a very large breed so it is likely to have large litters of about 10 - 13 puppies. First time mums will have smaller litters.

My Malamute so far has 9 puppies and she might give birth to another one....just waiting to see how it goes....
As many as 12. Yes, you read that right. My Jack had 10 in her first and only litter, and 12 is not unheard of for a Jack Russell.
This depends on the size and age of the dog. First time mothers will have smaller litters, for German Shepherds, probably 7 to 9 puppies.

Hope this helps: Pekingese weigh from 7 to 14 lb (3.2 to 6.4 kg) and stand about 6--9 inches (15--23 cm) at the withers, however they can sometimes be smaller. These smaller Pekingese are commonly referred to as "Sleeve" Pekingese or just "Sleeves". The name is taken from ancient times, when emperors would carry the smallest of the breed in their sleeves. A Pekingese over 14 pounds is disqualified in the show ring. I know there is more than you asked here but I just added it anyway for extra detail if you ever wondered

It can cost up to $5000.00 to breed and deliver the puppies and only 3 to 4 puppies each litter!
Many animal babies are called 'pups' and thus 'puppies'. Just a cute derivetive in slang over time is all.
