They hurt because running is a physical activity and you are probably out of shape. Keep running and over time it will stop hurting.
A different point of view...At 13, your body is undergoing a lot of growth. The areas you described are high stress areas, and they hurt adult runners as well. In your case, the pain may reflect both the normal stress runners feel performing this activity, as well as pains associated with your high rate of growth. It doesn't sound as if being out of shape has anything to do with this.because when u run for a long time the nerves start getting over active and they hurt
some people run long distances barefoot. the risk is accumulative. running shoes are built to cushion your feet's impact, with no cushion you must learn to run differently, or you may suffer from joint problems in the knees, ankles, or hips.
well, my friend has a similar problem where she can't walk for too long and she can't run at all. she has frayed cartilage in her knees. i suggest you get a doctor to check it out just so that if it is something serious you can get it fixed.
Football players run a lot which puts a lot of pressure on their knees and ankles. They also get tackled by their knees which is also very serious. Football players may also have people fall on their knees which can cause injury.
All the muscles of your leg work when you run. Quadriceps and Hamstrings (Thighs) and Calf muscles work the most. Apart from this your glutes (butt) muscles work a fair bit too. Also while running we tend to move our arms and shoulders and hence your deltoids (shoulder) muscles work too.
Because just about every single sport, you run and when you run you use your thighs to push off from the ground.
Yes. Running on cement will hurt your knees in the long run and will cause many joint problems later in life. Running on a treadmill allows comfort for your joints and knees to relax.
More bone usage going down, More musle usage going up.

Alternate... Engage distance, Still 200 Relax all Raise both shoulders Extend both hips Contract both knees Extend both ankles Run 60 frames Extend both knees. Body breaker... Engage distance=170 Hold all Extend both hips Contract both ankles Extend both ankles Run 50 frames Contract both pecs Raise both shoulders Run 50 frames Extend abs Extend both knees Contract both ankles I have a running tut but to get it, PM buck_tugidson. that is me in forum.toribash.com
do 100 squats to make our thighs soft then run or jog and that should work
You must shave your knees, moisturize (I find lubriderm works best), and run everyday.
i don't know but my ribs hurt soooooo bad i hooope i get an answer too well if your ribs hurt when you run then that's what it felt like for my knees...then you have to go to orthopedics...that's where you do excercizes to help out your ribs or knees or anything that hurts. i did it and now the pain in my knees is gone, but when you stop orthropedics then you have to continue on with the excercized...and if it hurts really bad then you might'be pulled something by your ribs. and if it hurts through your ribs down to your hip then you probably definitely pulled a muscle, but anyways i think you should really go to a doctor.
