Hi Although we still refer to the US as having "allies" (most notably Britain, France, Germany and Japan, the terms Allied and Axis powers refers strictly to World War 2 when the Axis powers were Germany, Italy and Japan, and the Allies were pretty much everyone else. In VietNam, the fighting was solely between VietNamese soldiers known as the Viet Cong, and American forces. No allies, no axis. Phil
Gallipoli was an amphibious assault, and the terrain was different. Both were meat grinders for the Allies, but Gallipoli was concluded much more quickly than the Western Front.
no one is very gud in dieting
During World War I, the loss of morale and fighting effectiveness on the part of Imperial Russia in 1917-18 affected the remaining Allies in a negative way. Their strategic position suddenly became much worse, as Germany especially could now focus even more force upon the Western Front. It was mainly the timely entrance of the United States into the war that served to counter-balance this strategic negative.
Both Germany and Italy were allies of Austria during World War I but Italy didn't like Austria very much. This alliance among Austria, Italy, and Germany was called the Triple Alliance.
Depends on what you mean by Allies. If you mean Ally as in fighting with France and Britain, then no. They were enemies. But I've heard Germany and her allies being reffered to as the "Allies" and the France-Britain-Russia alliance as the Triple Entente. Personally. I like the classification of "Entente" for the British-French side and "Central Powers" for Germany and her allies, using the word "Allies" invokes too much familiarity with World War 2.
The Russians were on the winning side, they did not win the war by themselves. Of the Allies fighting in Europe the Russians suffered the biggest losses, but much of the equipment (planes, trucks) the Russians used were made in America.
making allies makes you popular in the game which is pretty much important i think.

Most European countries were involved in World War 1. In Western Europe, most of the fighting took place in Belgium and France and in Eastern Europe, Turkey and Bulgaria saw a lot of fighting.

Surely all of any war is actually fighting... Yes, there were unaffcted parts of the world, indeed there were in WW2, but Global war was a part of WW1. The world had suddenly become a very modern place.....
