that is a lie. my history class is doing a project on what they did in WW1 they were Nurses, Coast guards, marines, and some in the army. there were over 30,000 women in the war! that was the first war women were in. Many would dress as men to get into the war to prove they were just as great. one of them is Dorothy Lawrence. You should really look more info up. It is actually really interesting :)
