It's not at all difficult and no special tools are required, but typing out step-by-step instructions would take pages, as there many parts involved, including the bearings, nacelle, wheel, fender, headlight, air fittings, turn signals, passing lamps and various fork leg components, not to mention adjustment procedures, torque values, etc.

The very simplest thing to do would be to buy a service manual, available from your Harley dealer and also numerous online sources.

However, since it isn't rocket science, if you're mechanically inclined you could probably do the job just using experience and common sense.
