It is underneath the bottom fairing. It has a circular cover with a bolt in the middle with a diameter of about 3 inches. Loosen the bolt and pull down the cover, the filter will come out with the bolt.
Check the oil cap and the drain plug, as well as the oil filter.
not sure about those above 500cc but that and the 250 have them under the crankcase... you don't even have to remove any fairings cause the lower has an opening int to allow access to the drain and filter bolts... on the 1986 ninja 1000 the oil filter is by the exhaust pipe bottom of the engine you have to remove the exhaust to take the filter cover off its a paper filter.
PH-30 oil filter
yes it has an internal oil filter
It is below the engine (under the lower fairing cowl). The plate that holds it is a circular object with a bolt in the center and spokes radiating out from it. The bolt is unscrewed and the filter comes out.
Im assuming for the oil? if so it is on the underside of the bike right under the clutch. It just looks like a bolt, the round thing right next to it is the oil filter.
3 quarts...but buy a gallon and check it as you fill it. Be sure to run it for a little bit after you replace the oil filter and fill it with at least 2 and a half quarts of 10w 40w
No it doesn't have one
ex250 ninja 2008 10w fork oil, 360 ml and 108 mm air gap
The 250 virago holds 1.9 quarts of oil total. This includes the oil in the filter. The system holds 1.5 quarts not including filter.
there is no oil filter! just a magnet to catch fillings in pan. what is the capacity of oil
Rebel 250 takes 1.6qts of 10/40 oil. There is no Oil filter on this bike, there is a screen but it is not meant to be changed. Since the engine oil is also the clutch/transmission oil and there is no oil filter it is important to change the oil at regular intervals.
