You can put a better air intake and filter on it, you can use higher octane petrol, you could get an MSD box or Jacobs ignition (of the two, I personally prefer the latter), you could change your exhaust and mufflers. If it's an older, carbeurated model, you can put high performance carbeurators on it, or, for the fuel injected models, you can add a Tuned Port Injection system. It's all in what you want out of it, and how much money you want to sink into it.
