Actually, Fascism (at least the Nazi Germany version) was basically Communism without the idea of Nationalism. Hitler revered the Communist philosophy, he just believed Fascism was better because it described ones primary loyalty to the state.

Communism is a radical, revolutionary social ideology which seeks to create a classless, money-less, stateless world where everyone is in complete equality with everyone else, as first put forward by Karl Marx - unfortunatley, this has never actually been created, and communist states (the first being the Soviet Union) have generally had economies in which all means of production are controlled and distributed by government, a government which has a big influence over people's lives due to the presence of single-party police states. There have been various models of communism, the most popular seemingly being Marxist-Leninism, though other models, also named after communist leaders, such as Trotskyism, Stalinism and Maoism. The last two are notable for causing the deaths of millions of people. Comparing communism, fascism and Nazism, all three require authoritarian governments and movements, and both seem to result in the deaths of millions in order to achieve their aims. However, in the case of communism, it's similarity to the other two stop there.

Fascism is a radical authoritarian nationalist ideology, in which the leaders seek to unify the people behind the nation. Unlike communism, in which all industries are controlled by government, fascism allows indepedent industries to exist - providing they're pledging their support to the fascist cause. Nazism is a form of fascism put most notably into practice by Adolf Hitler. In holds many similarities to fascism (at least the form of fascism being practiced in Italy at the time) but unlike Mussolini's Italian fascism, which was based more off nationalism, Hitler was more interested in the concept of race - Mussolini didn't particularly oppress Jews until he found it beneficial to his relationship with Hitler to do so.

There are no similarities between fascism and Communism. Fascism is an authoritarian racist variant of capitalism. Communism stands for the abolition of the wages system and establishment of a classless society.

What is the difference between communism and nazism?

Communism is a leftist economic philosophy that arose in the mid-to-late 1800's. It seeks to create a stateless, moneyless, egalitarian society where the workers control the factories, mines, farms, etc that they work on. It doesn't sound too bad, but in practice (such as in North Korea, Cuba, China, and Russia), it hasn't ever actually worked out quite so well. The countries that have tried it have always wound up being dictatorships or oligarchies where the workers have very little power.Nazism is a far right political ideology that arose in Germany at the end of World War I. It was profoundly racist (especially antisemitic), but otherwise the Nazis played fairly loosely with their beliefs until they took power. Once in power, they set up a totalitarian right-wing dictatorship that focused on militarism, nationalism, racism, "traditional values", and authoritarianism. They largely kept in place the capitalist economic system that had preceded their rise to power, although they notably removed Jewish people from the economy. The ultimate goal of Nazism was to create an empire in central and eastern Europe that would be inhabited only by "pure" Germans; all other peoples would be eliminated (either by being forced to leave, or by simply being killed).

When did the Neo Nazi regime start?

In a way, Neo-Natzism began immediately after the demise of Hitler's army in World War II; however, as a true and open movement, it began at different times in different countries. In Eastern Europe, Neo-Natzis began making headlines in 2003-4. In postwar Germany, the movement came out of the underground during the 1960's. In the US, the prevalence in overt Neo-Nazism came to its fruition during the 1980s.
