What did Alice and Jasper do in Breaking Dawn?

in breaking dawn, Bella and edward get married and have a daughter named renesme. Bella has renesme when she is still human so the half human half vampire baby almost kills Bella so when it is 'born' edward has to turn Bella into a vampire himself to keep her from dieing. after renesme is born, trouble brews with the voultri when they think that renesme is an immortal child which is not allowed so the Cullen family plus many of their friends gather to stand up against the voultri to protect the child which grows and learns and is able to control herself which definitely means she is not an immortal child. in the end, the oultri see no crime is committed and that a fight between the two sides with end with a devistating loss to his army/side so they give up, leaving Bella edward renesme and the rest of the cullens to live happily ever after with their newly extended family.....yay

jacob goes on with renesmee (he imprinted on her) and bella is happy wwith edward. in the end edward is finally friends with jacob and thinks of jacob as a son in law. and Bella is fine with Jacob . but in breaking dawn part 2 they do fight sometimes.
