The border area of Canada and the United States includes about nine major (and several more minor) bodies of water. They are, from west to east: Juan de Fuca Strait, Haro Strait, Boundary Pass, Strait of Georgia and Boundary Bay between British Columbia and Washington. Between Minnesota and Manitoba/Ontario is Lake of the Woods. The Great Lakes area include Lakes Superior, Huron, St. Clair, Erie and Ontario as well as connecting rivers. Out of Lake Ontario flows the St. Lawrence River/Seaway. Between Quebec and New York/Vermont is Lake Champlain. Between New Brunswick and Maine flow the St. Francis, St. John and St. Croix Rivers.
Interestingly, in these bodies of water there are three tiny exclaves, land areas that are connected to Canada by land, but not connected to the United States. They are: Point Roberts, WA, on Boundayr Bay/Georgia Strait, the Northwest Angle (Minnesota) on Lake of the Woods and Alburgh, Vermont on Lake Champlain.
