The entire cast pre-recorded the songs months prior to shooting the movie. So yes, THEY ALL DID LIP-SYNC....however, it was to their own voices....EVEN ZAC EFRON, although they did not use his voice in the FIRST High School Musical. I know for a fact that one of the voices they used was that of Drew Seeleys. But Zac actually did record the songs for HSM 2 and 3.
