The serial # will be on the left side of the receiver just above the wood. If there is no serial # then your rifle was produced before 1968. Before 1968 serial #'s were not required by law on a .22 cal rifle.
I HAVE THE SAME QUESTION. I WANT TO SELL MY GUNS, DUE TO A DISABILITY, BUT I CAN'T FIND THE SERIAL NUMBER ON MY FOX MODEL B. ANY HELP?

Google "buffet serial clarinet" and you'll find a number of sites dealing with your identification issue. Good luck!
you can usually find it on the bell and the barrel, sometimes even the ligature that came with it, of your clarinet.
Model number can be found on the left side of the barrel, below the rear sight. The serial number is located on the bottom of the rifle, between the lever mechanism and the forestock. Happy hunting.
The serial number is on the left side close to breachthe first two number on most mod 20 is the year of manufacture.
Right below the hammer.
If you subtract the first 2 numbers of your serial number from 2000,you should be able to get the year of manufacture.I can say that the model 70HC was made from 1989-1995.But I can find no serial number data on the model 75C.
By the serial number letter prefix. The Model 30 was introduced in 1964. A Y or Z prefix is for 1964. AA in 1965, AB in 66, etc.
I found the value of a Marlin/Glenfield (similar serial) to be at about $2,700. I'm looking too, but that's the price I was able to find.
its easy to find out how old your 30a is just subtract the first to numbers of the serial number from 100 for example the serial number on mine starts with 22 so mine was made in 1978
Subtract the first two digits of the serial number from 100 and that will be the year of manufacture for this rifle. 100 - 27 = 73 "1973"
THIS Glenfield MOD 50 BOLT ACTION SHOTGUN WAS MANUFACTURED 1966-1972. I HAVE ONE AND ALSO CANNOT LOCATE THE SERIAL NUMBER.
You cannot find out unless you provide the model number with the serial number.
The Winchester model 69A is a pre-serial number firearm and as such does not have one.
it depends on the model where it is.
if you are asking to find who else has owned it then no , now with a serial number and some minior research you can find out alot of other things like place of mfg.,batch number.,year of mfg.,etc
