get a 12 volt test light from somewhere and check to see if you have power at your turn signal lights by removing lenses or bulbs( depending on application) and probe bulb holder for power. if you don't have any power at the bulb holder with the turn signal switch turned on for the side of car you are testing for power, you have either a break in your wiring or your turn signal switch is not making contact to complete the electrical circuit to send power to your turn signals. Before starting this procedure, take the time to read a service manual for your car in the electrical section, you will find many helpful tips on how to diagnose your problem by following their troubleshooting flow charts. ----JT---

First thing to do is check your fuses. Look under the hood for a fuse box there. It will be labeled on top and should show you what fuse is for what item. My 93 Prizm has this and there are two fuses for the headlights. Check them first. If they're okay, you need to check the plug-ins to the bulbs themselves. If they're okay, check the bulbs and if they're okay, check the wiring harness for any breaks. Your turn signals don't have a thing to do with your headlights.
For lights behind the speedometer/tach warning light area, you have to take the screws out of the panel and then guide it out enough that you can twist it sideways and pull out the burned out bulbs. Replace with bulbs #194 and I would use the Long Life version of the bulbs.
check the fuel pump sceen in the tank . I already experienced this problem .

Open your trunk. Remove the black pins in the felt liner and then you'll see the tail light assembly. You can access the bulbs without removing the assembly. Just get the felt liner out of the way.
