How do you format a Creative Zen?
To format a Creative Zen is quite simple. Turn off you player. Then hold the play button and turn on your player. You will now see a menu that gives you options to format. After, select the option to reboot/ restart. There are other options to clean up and reload firmware. In Windows XP (I haven't tried with any other platform), you can right-click on the Zen in the drive listing and select Format from the context menu. However, in my case this hasn't performed the full factory reset that I have been looking for.

Youtube will accept most video formats. You can use wmv, avi, mpg and dvix. I believe it also accepts MPG4, although I have not tried that format myself.

This is a very common thing with this program. I too have had trouble with it and decided to use another one. I recommend A-Maps and setting up XSE script editor as the main script editor and trying things from there.

I had similar problems and worse I tried to format the MP3 player on a computer with Microsoft XP operating system and the System tried to crash every time I tried. I tried it again with a computer that had Windows 2000 operating system and it worked. The "Format" Program in Windows 2000 would not Identify an operating system or the MP3 player storage capability and it was slow to format - - but it worked .

I found a solution! I tried everything from the LAN setting to the google web accelerator. What worked for me was that i downloaded google chrome and installed adobe flash player and now all videos are showing on youtube. Hope it work for ya ;)
