Make sure the window lock button is not engaged on the drivers door. If the button is not engaged then there is a short on the window lock switch. Answer 2:Had to replace the complete drivers door switch assy.I believe rainwater from the driprail falling on the switches is the cause($255.00 from dealer)
this is how my Chilton says to do it lower window to down position(if you can) remove door panel remove window weather stripping remove black window surround (should be a screw on top of surround towards back edge) then stationary window should unbolt then remove pins that hold operator to track pick up and pull out the operating window
most likely the wires in the door on the drivers seat side disconnected, our window quit working sometimes, when we give a good Bang! against the the door next to the panels it works again... u can try that out, if not still, past by a garage...
Sounds like a problem with the master (drivers) switch.
mine did the same thing> it was a broken wire int he rubber boot going from the drivers door to the pillar (by the door hinges). just slide the boot off and check your wiring.
