ummm..i would just like to respond to the latter saying by stating that i am a teenager that likes to listen to rap music, and i have never once felt like robbing a convenience store or doing a driveby. and i would also like to point out that back in the day, when you were a kid, people said the same thing about Rock Music. that it was "the devil's music", and that kids like my parents at the time shouldn't be listening to it. but i don't ever hear my parents complaining when i listen to aerosmith. your generation had your music, now let us have ours. just because you don't like it, or you don't understand it, doesn't mean you have to condemn it. and by the way, mainstream society sucks. we don't assimilate into it because we cant, it's because we don't want to. just like your generation didn't want to when they went to Woodstock and set cars on fire
