No, most mountains are formed from rocks squashed up as the continents move round the Earth furthermore, not every volcano is a mountain - for instance Yellowstone park is a volcano and it is not a mountain.

Yes. All volcanoes are mountains but not all mountains are volcanoes. In some cases Volcanoes have worn down so much that they don't have very much of elevation but more of a hill but they are still mountains if they have elevation.
