Copal, sage, and sweet grass are commonly used together in ceremonial practices to cleanse and purify a space. Copal is burned first to create a sacred atmosphere, sage is then used to cleanse and purify the space of negative energies, and sweet grass is burned last to bring in positive energy and blessings. Each herb serves a specific purpose in the ritual, working together to create a harmonious and sacred environment.
It is generally not recommended to burn grass cuttings as this releases harmful emissions into the air and can be a fire hazard. It is best to compost or mulch the grass cuttings to enrich the soil and promote a healthy lawn.
Grass fires burn faster than forest fires because grass is shorter and has a higher surface-to-volume ratio, allowing the fire to spread more quickly. Grass also tends to dry out faster than larger trees in forests, making it more flammable. Additionally, grass fires are typically more prone to wind-driven spread compared to forest fires.
Applying heat to grass will not cause it to melt but to burn. Glass is a silica compound that due to the addition of soda softens at about 1500 °C (2700 °F) It is not a true "melting point" since amorphous solids do not have sharp melting points like crystalline solids do.
Applying a concentrated solution of fertilizers to a green grass lawn can lead to fertilizer burn, which can cause damage and browning of the grass. It is recommended to dilute the fertilizer according to the instructions on the product packaging to prevent this. Over-fertilizing can also lead to nutrient runoff and harm the surrounding environment.
it would burn away all the trees and shrubs and grass and that would mean there is no oxygen

Green grass has locked up moisture in its cells. The water there has to evaporate before it can be allowed to burn. If the fire is hot enough, it will burn, but it will have to evapiorate the moisture first and you get lots of white smoke.
hope it doesnt burn out and die
to burn all the old dead grass clippings, so the lawn can start fresh. There is also the hope that any seeds from weeds and/or stickers might burn along with the dead grass. If the grass is thick and is never raked, a layer of dead grass builds up and air is cut off which may also result in a layer of mold and other diseases damaging the grass.
just add cold water and ittl do the job
Fire requires three main components to burn: fuel (such as wood or paper), oxygen (from the air), and heat (from a match or spark). These three elements come together in a process called combustion to produce fire.
