∙ 12y agoThere are two different ways depending whether it is UK or USA version. I cannot be too sure what one is what answer but one has a reset button under the outer casing, the other has a default password which can be used only once so you can change the password, which is 0246

∙ 15y agopress the lower right hand part of the touch screen and while pressed turn the unit off/on. The system boots up and asks if you want to reset all the user data. answer yes or a master reset.

∙ 13y agoLocated on the back of the nuvi under the antenna is the reset button. Press down on that button while the nuvi is turned on and it will reset your HOME location
