The muscles located in the shoulder and move the arm are: the deltoid, teres major, and rotator cuff muscles. The deltoid muscle is like three muscles in one: the anterior fibers flex the shoulder, the lateral fibers abduct the arm, and the posterior fibers extend the shoulder.

The rotator cuff muscles are the supraspinatus , infraspinatus , teres minor, and subscapularis . They can be remembered with the mnemonic SITS. The primary function of the rotator cuff muscles is holding the head of the humerus in the glenoid cavity. They act more to assist the other muscles.

There is no simple answer to that as there would be many factors, like the quality of material used, the type of extension, the amount of work involved and who is actually doing the job etc.

How many cannabinoid receptors in the human body?

The endocannabinoid system is a ubiquitous lipid signaling system that appeared early in evolution and has important regulatory functions throughout the body in all vertebrates. It consists of a family of G-protein-coupled receptors, the cannabinoid receptors (CB1 found in the brain and many peripheral tissues, and CB2, primarily found in immune cells); endoligands to activate these receptors; and two enzymes, the fatty acid amide hydrolase and the monoacylglycerol lipase, to metabolize the endoligands. The endoligands of the cannabinoid receptor system, small molecules derived from arachidonic acid, are called endocannabinoids. The main endocannabinoids, anandamide (arachidonoylethanolamide) and 2-arachidonoylglycerol, bind primarily to CB1 and CB2 receptors, but also to the vanilloid receptor producing a wide diversity of effects since they function as agonists, antagonists and partial antagonists. (Cannabinoids function as antagonists to the vanilloid receptor, a.k.a. the capsaicin receptor, since it can be activated by capsaicin and is involved in the transmission and modulation of pain.) reference: greenbloomdotorg

Can agonists or antagonists that mimic neurotransmitters be mistakenly stored in terminal buttons during reuptake?

Some neurotransmitter molecules have a molecular structure that precisely fits the receptor site on the receiving neuron, much as a key fits a lock. When the agonist molecule excites, it is similar enough in structure to the neurotransmitter molecule that it mimics its effects on the receiving neuron. Morphine, for instance, mimics the action of endorphins by stimulating receptors in brain areas involved in mood and pain sensations. This antagonist molecule inhibits. It has a structure similar enough to the neurotransmitter to occupy its receptor site and block its action, but not similar enough to stimulate the receptor.

What muscles are agonists in plantar flexion?

The opposite of plantar flexion is dorsiflexion. Plantar flexion means to increase the angle at the ankle, as in tip-toeing. The muscles involved in dorsiflexion (picking up the toes) are:tibialis anterior muscleextensor hallucis longus muscleextensor digitorum longus muscleperoneus tertius
