There is no such thing as a Liberty dollar coin minted in 2000. There is however the Sacajawea dollar which was minted in brass, and unless in proof condition it is only worth $1.

This would be the 1972 Silver Eisenhower dollar variety from the San Francisco Mint. In uncirculated condition, it would be worth about $8 and if you have a Proof coin, it would be worth about $9.30.

As of Mar/11, the silver content is worth about $27. Because the value of the coin is due to the amount of the silver, proofs are not worth more. They are selling on eBay for about $30 including shipping but because of Paypal fees, eBay fees and shipping, you will get considerably less than the value of the silver.
