I'm turning 13 soon no really big difference. Anyways...best hairstyles is probably pony-tails, and of course FRENCH braids. That's like so cute. I think it would look really cute 4 u. :) Altho, buns are really cute...........Um, put it in a cute messy way.. or you can try to curl your hair. And then put two pins on each side. :) It would look sooo adorable! And since you have THICK medium hair, it would turn out to be just perfect. :)
I think if you put it in a high ponytail and get bangs (not side bangs just regular bangs) straighten your bangs and get one of those thick headbands and wear it then put two curls on either side in front of your headband, I know it sounds confusing but if you know what I'm talking about it will look really cute!!!
I have thick brown hair too! What I do sometimes is put it in a ponytail and mess it up a little. Also take some hair from the front and slick it back with a clip or two bobby pins. Make it puff up a bit. I got layers and side bangs and I love it! It's a little harder to do my hair different ways, though.
