poems are all about beat and having a flowing, spiritual story told through your heart and rythm and rhymes help keep a beat and help make poems fow more easily which makes the listener more attentive to your poems.

Ok, so, the brain is very sensitive to sound. For instance, if someone screams, your get scared, sad, mad, excited, etc. If someone cries, the noises trigger your feelings in ways that make you responed accordingly. So when your hear the rythem and the catchy sounds that music creates.... it reflects what you would hear in the natural world. Like a animal screeching.... The only difference is that sounds make you happy, according to your mood, taste, and how loud the music is.
