Jehoiada the priest
The story of Joash, also known as Jehoash, can be found in the Old Testament in 2 Kings 11-12 and 2 Chronicles 22-24. Joash was a king of Judah who began his reign as a child and was mentored by the high priest Jehoiada. He is remembered for his efforts to repair the Temple and restore the worship of God in Judah.
King Joash of Judah died in 796 BC, according to biblical accounts. He was assassinated by his own officials after a reign marked by both reform and strife. His death is recorded in 2 Kings 12:20-21 and 2 Chronicles 24:25-27. Joash's death led to the ascension of his son, Amaziah, to the throne.
There is no replacement for the Bible which has all the answers. II Kings 13:14 "Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof." Joash is the correct answer. II Chronicles 24:1 "Joash was seven years old when he began to reign, and reigned forty years in Jerusalem..."Actually, Josiah was king in Jerusalem as well (Thus, Judah). Your answer might be a might bit more precise than the average reader is looking for. After Solomon's death the Nation of Israel split in two, with most of the tribes going to the North and following Jeroboam. Rehoboam, Solomon's Son, maintained control over the Southern kingdom which became known as Judah, the name of the bigger of the two tribes that remained with the southern Kingdom. Benjamin was the other southern tribe. Both Josiah and Joash were kings of the Southern Kingdom, and both brought some element of reform to the kingdom. In response to the question, Joash was the YOUNGER of the two, taking the throne when he was 7 years old._____________________________________________________________________The previous answer is wrong. Joash (also known as Jehoash) wasn't a king of Israel, he was a king of Judah. Josiah was the youngest king of Israel at age 8.Joash, at the age of seven.II Chronicles 24 v1.
Joash, the king of Judah, was counseled by the priest Jehoiada. After being hidden from Queen Athaliah's massacre of the royal family, Joash was brought out and crowned king at the age of seven by Jehoiada, who also guided him in restoring the worship of Yahweh and renovating the temple. Jehoiada played a crucial role in shaping Joash's early reign and ensuring a return to proper worship in Judah.
2 Kings 11:21: "Seven years old [was] Jehoash when he began to reign." It appears that Joash and Jehoash were one and the same person. He became the King of Judah and reigned for 40 years, doing that which was good in the sight of the Lord. In fact he was one of the best kings to ever reign. I believe there was a king of Israel with the same name who ruled in Samaria a little further in the history of the Kings of Judah and Israel. These two states were separate kingdoms and had separate kings and were normal feuding with each other. From the verse above you can read the whole story>

King Joash of Judah had two wives, as mentioned in the biblical accounts. His reign is noted for various reforms and challenges, but details about his personal life are relatively limited. The focus of his story primarily revolves around his political and religious actions rather than his marriages.
