well, this is a difficult question however to put things simply, a certain era is named after a monarch. the people of that era are named after the monarch, eg, elizabethans, the notible and commonly used ones are ones which you have put in your question. these era's happen when the king or queen make a significant mark on society and the country, Victoria built an empire, elizabeth the first made England wealthy, edwardians were involved in the new technology age, today you may consider us during our queens reign elizabethans, during the 1950s in the queens early years Britain was recovering from the secound world war, people used the term to symbolise a new beginning, a beginning where we had never had life so good. however today the term is not really used and the concept of using the monarchs name to determine an era is not heard of any more, however we will not see the future era's because the name of an era is not really given to it until that era has passed, so it will not be until many years after William and Charles die and the impact they make, will we know what the era will be known as, if they do make a significant impact that is.
Their family name was Tudor. Mary Tudor, Elizabeth Tudor...etc. and that's why we call them the tudors. You can always tell, the Victorians were called that because their Queen was called Victoria. The Elizabethans were called that because their Queen was called Elizabeth. It's quite simple.
the leader of the Victorians was queen Victoria ,by charlue kasre.
It ended in 1901 which is when Queen Victoria died.
One. Queen Victoria.
Victorians are people who lived through the reign of Queen Victoria (1837 - 1901) and their place of residence is immaterial.
The term "Victorian" refers to the period of the reign of Queen Victoria (1837 - 1901). "Victorians" refers to the people living at that time.
At the time, I don't believe an equivalent term has been coined. Historians will likely assign a term when we're dead and gone and our story told. Time will tell what we'll be remembered as :) The Victorians are so called because they lived in the time of Queen Victoria. It is all to do with the name of the monarch who is alive at the time. Hence we are currently Elizabethans strange as it may sound.
