Latent learning and observational learning
characteristics of cognitive learning theories
1. Nature of the Learning Process 2. Goals of the Learning Process 3. Construction of knowledge 4. Strategic thinking 5. Thinking about thinking 6. Context of learning
As far as my concern, cognitive development may be affected by: opportunity of learning, surrounding's, relatives, relation between parents and friends, entertainment medium such as sports, television etc. Orphanage can be a major restriction of cognitive development.
Cognitive means Psychological processes involved in acquisition and understanding of knowledge, formation of beliefs and attitudes, and decision making and problem solving. They are distinct from emotional and volitional processes involved in wanting and intending.Cognitive capacity is measured generally with intelligence quotient (IQ) tests.
Observational Learning
Research shows some of the major factors that affect motor learning are environment, cognitive processes, and movement organization (Jarus, 1994)
characteristics of cognitive learning theories
The factors involved in the teaching and learning of pronunciation are: 1. the sound system (phonology) 2. word accent (stress) 3. rhythm and 4. intonation

Casey Anthony's case does not directly relate to cognitive theory. Cognitive theory focuses on how thoughts, perceptions, and beliefs affect behavior. The Casey Anthony case involved a high-profile trial in which she was accused of murdering her daughter. While cognitive factors may have influenced the actions of the individuals involved in the case, it is not a case that is typically used to illustrate cognitive theory.

Yes, without cognitive learning processes, no one would understand exactly how to get appropriate behaviors from others. Cognitive learning allows people to anticipate what actions create reactions.
social learning theory and reinforcement theory are both dealing in observation and cognitive factors. social learning theory, learning occur without a change in behavior, while in reinforcement theory learning occur with a change in behavior
