There is a strong belief that the Field Sparrow and the English sparrow are the same bird. They look very similar in their markings and feather coloring.

There are several reasons why the English or field sparrow has disappeared from Michigan. One reason that the English Sparrow has almost completely disappeared is because it is being ran off by the white bellied swallow.

It could be a lot of birds. When i hear that discription, i think of a song sparrow or a field sparrow or a house finch.

The Sparrow and the Shrimp fell in love. They both could not live comfortably in either hay field nor water but compromised for their love. The Shrimp died in the intense heat of the sun in the hay field and a farmer was burning the land to prepare for planting. Then the Sparrow died along side of the Shrimp not wanting to part from her, being forever by her side.
