Most former british colonies are still Christian. Much hasn't changed in most of the colonies that were under Britain rule.
Christianity is the largest major religion - including Anglicanism (especially in England), Presbyterianism (especially in Scotland), Roman Catholicism and Methodism.
There are also substantial Muslim, Sikh and Hindu minorities. There is a notable Jewish community, especially in north London. There is also a substantial percentage of the population which is non-religious.
It is probably safe to say that there are as many religions in Britain as there are religions. Although the country is notionally a Christian country with the Church of England as the state church, there are no restrictions on practising any religion. The freedome to practise a religion is enshrined in law but more importantly, it is accepted by the great majority of the population.
As well as Christianity, the other major religions include Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddism, and many more. Atheism and Paganism are also accepted. (With apologies for any major faiths that have bee omitted).
To count the number of different faiths would be difficult but an estimate of 100 would probably still be too low a number.
Nominally the religion with the most members are the Protestant Churches, however more Roman Catholics regularly attend church. Islam is Britains fastest growing religion.

When speaking of the US Constitution, it should be noted that the term of "separation of Church and State" appears nowhere in the Constitution. What the US Constitution prevents is the government from establishing a State sponsored religion or make no laws regarding the establishment of religion nor prevent the practice of a peoples religion. As a comparison at the time of the US Constitution, Great Britain's state religion was the Anglican Church.
