Is doomsday stronger than Superman?

Doomsday is often portrayed as physically stronger than Superman due to his ability to adapt and become immune to attacks that have defeated him before. However, Superman has defeated Doomsday in various storylines through teamwork, strategy, or sheer determination. So, while Doomsday may have the edge in raw power, Superman's resilience and heroism make him a formidable opponent.

Did Gene Hackman portray the poorest image for Lex Luthor?

Possibly so because he was not bald like the villain is supposed to be- but John Shea did not shave his head either for his role in "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman".

Why did Lex Luthor never appear on the 1950s Superman TV show with the late George Reeves?

Back in the 1950's, the concept of a "Super Villain" on television would have been less than palatable. The TV of the day was filled with goodness and light, nothing but fair play, and the good guys always won in the end. For a villain to reach "Super" status, he would have to win occasionally. If Superman jailed him every time they tangled, he would just be an ordinary villain.

There probably was an agreement of some sort back then that had the bad guys always lose on every show. There was something about a "Crime Doesn't Pay" rule being in place back then. All that would explain why Lex Luthor never showed up.

No other costumed baddies ever showed up either. It was kind of strange that Superman, the guy that has all the powers anyone could want, fought ordinary bank robbers and such, while Batman, a guy with no super abilities at all (being an expert martial artist, gymnast, scientist, etc. does not qualify as a super power) fought nothing but cagey, costumed criminals with diabolical, dastardly devices (talking about that 1960's campfest gets one all alliterative).

Why can brids defy the law of gravity?

Birds have evolved from the same common ancestor as reptiles, they have many homologous characteristics. What makes them different however is that birds have hollow bones and many other key characteristics to make them lighter. They do not defy gravity, they are lighter and spread that light body weight over a great volume of air to support their mass.

Art imatates life Superman paraplegic?

Tragically the actor Chris Reeve was paralyzed following a horse-riding accident, I knew he played Superman, my mother did not and could not see how magazine articles linked a horse-riding accident to a comic book superhero-until I explained it to her. He was not related to Steve Reeves, who played Superman on TV and committed suicide ( did he employe a Kryptonite-salted rifled slug) in l957 or thereabouts.

In the Superman comics does Clark Kent's father die?

His real parents died in the Krypton disaster. His adoptive parents, the Kents, died over the course of the Superboy narrative. Their cause of death was a tropical island plague Superman could not solve or cure. Naturally they kind of glossed over this just showing a brief visit to a cemetery after the incident. In one of the newer Superboys- the Kents are still alive. However, that is a different chronology.
