I have an 1999 acura tl 4 door and the alarm keeps going off i hadhe battery checked and it was good i tried to reset it with the key on the passenger side and noting seems to work. i parked my car on the street when i went to work and the people on the block left threating letters on my car to cause damage to my car i need my car to get to work can you please help me.

The newer cars will have a blinging light on the dash and come with a control fob for your key chain. If it was original equipment, you could get your VIN number and contact a dealership for the make of your car. I would think any type of security system would give you some type of controler for it, so you could turn it on and off. Hope this helps.

leave the ignition turned on for 45mins or until the red security light on the dash has stoped flashing then start beware if the engine stalls or you turn the engine off you have to wait anutha 45mins

On the driver's side of the front dashboard, near the dreiver's side door there is a small switch that you can toggle on/off. Pulling it to you (if you are standing outside the car reaching in) will deactivate the alarm. It is near the interior fuse box.

You cant disarm the alarm by removing a fuse, it is part of the ecm. you may be having a computer memory erasure problem which will have to be fixed flashed by the dealer.

A person should know the location of the fuses and relays in a vehicle. The alarm horn relay is usually found in the relay box of the vehicle, next to the passenger storage box.

It can not be disabled or removed. It is part of the body and engine computers. It is disarmed by the remote or unlocking the door.

I replace engine but now it wont start.

The 2003 Cadillac Escalade back up alarm fuse can be found in the fuse box. The location of the back of the alarm fuse will be listed on the inside cover of the fuse box.

This is a common failure on 201 and 123 chassis. Check the hood switch is closing. Check the trunk closes fully. The drivers door lock is often faulty. If it still goes off, disconnect the alarm module...located under the passengers foot well relay cover. New modules are over $500.00.
If you have an alarm that is set buy turning the key to lock the door you need to open the same door you locked to take the alarm off. If you unlock the passanger door, trunk or rear doors after locking the driver side door the alarm will go crazy. To get it to turn off, lock and unlock the door you first locked before the alarm went off.

you pop the hood and behind the battery slighty to the left you find a small red cable, carefully pull it off and bam!

its the locking of the driver and passenger door with the key that operates he alarm. the only way round it is to lock the drivers and passengers doors from reaching in via the back doors or obviously locking the passenger sides before getting out by pushing th pin down then get out of the car and lock the drivers door by reaching in from the rear drivers door.

Use the entry password and enter keys which are provided by the factory to disarm.

disconnect the batt... for 5 to 10 min to reset

Read the instructions that came with the aftermarket alarm and follow them.

You can not disable, it is part of the body computer. Unlocking the drivers door with the key should turn it off if it is activated.
