Prozac will not make you test positive for Benzos in any way. They are a completely different class of drugs known as SSRI's or anti-depressants which are meant as a mood lifter or stabilizer. Benzos of the other hand such as Valium, Xanax, or Ativan which I take work on different chemicals entirely to calm a person with anxiety issues and the like. Prozac works on the chemical in the brain known as seratonin, both can be tested for in the blood but certainly should not be mistaken for the other.

Zoloft is a common prescription medication that treats depression and seizure disorders. Advil is an over the counter pain reliever. A reaction exists between the two medications because they may cause an increased chance of internal bleeding.

Since the Slim Quick brand of weight loss medication hasn't been approved by the FDA (food and drug administration) it would be wise to talk to your doctor about interacting Slim Quick with any other medication.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. You need to wean yourself off of Lexapro slowly and even then you are going to get some withdrawl symptoms, including dizziness and nausea. That's what happened to me when I went off Lexapro over a two week period. From what I understand the withdrawl can sometimes be worse than what I had. I would consult with your doctor and come up with a plan for you to get off. If you need to go back on something I would stay away from Lexapro - I have been on several antidepressants and that was the worse one to stop!

I have been on prescribed Cymbalta for 6 months and recently tested positive for methampethamines in urine test. I take no other medication and have never taken illegal methamphethamines in my life.

Alcohol is a depressant.If you are on Effexor for depression it can mess with the effectiveness of Effexor,causing more depression and anxiety.Speaking from experience,I think you can drink as long as it's not every day,and in moderation.

I'm taking Wellbutrin XL and I'm taking Levothyroxine for my Hypothyroidism. My doctor says it's ok. My depression is under control, my ADD is not that bad and so far it has control my appetite too but no weight loss. I still have symptoms of hypothyroidism but I think it's because I haven't reached the right amount of Levothyroxine.

well. I took both together and the azithromycin definitely did not cure my bronchitis, and I do not feel any effect from my bupropion (normally I feel several effects). The effects quickly wore off. I also gained 6 pounds. I am going to call my psychiatrist tomorrow and talk to him about it.

Some drugs work better for some people than they do for others. Many will find it useful, others will find it useless or even worsening.

If your doctor suggests it, then you could certainly try. But if it doesn't help, stop using it.

Any time you take a psychoactive drug like Wellbutrin you will need to use caution before operating heavy machinery or driving a vehicle. Wellbutrin and other drugs can cause dizziness and/or drowsiness which may affect your ability to drive. You need to wait to see how the medicine affects you before you get behind the wheel.

The PI sheet for Lexapro doesn't list acne as a side-effect, but many who've taken the drug state that, for them, it has resulted in moderate to severe acne. This is true for me. I had relatively clear skin -- only the occasional pimple -- before starting this drug. Now I've broken out across my back and have developed cystic acne around my chin. Big, deep, painful nodules. I've never had this problem before. It's depressing.

Phychologist should not prescribe medication. If they want to prescribe let them enter medical school and study medicine.

does prednisone contain an MAOI

yes, i was perscribed lexapro and then i couldn't sleep so i was perscribed ambien. i take them both no side effects it's safe

Oh, yes it is a very big side effect. Well at least for me it is. Stomach felt bubbly after taking 10mg pill it helps when I laid on my side or stood/sat up. Also try taking some nausea medicine or things for sour stomach.

You should be withdrawing from Cymbalta as gradually as possible. You should expect to spend a couple of weeks at each lower dose, at an absolute minimum you should be spending a few weeks at 30mg before stopping altogether. If you are withdrawing too quickly and you cannot cope with the effects of withdrawal then you should go back to your doctor and arrange to withdraw more slowly. Once you have Cymbalta back in your system the withdrawal effects should subside.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors, or MAOIs, are a class of drug that was one of the first used to treat depression. Gabapentin is a drug used to seizures and diabetic nerve pain. Gabapentin is not an MAOI.

yes you can take Wellbutrin and Xanax together. My doctor prescribed both for me for Anxiety. After a while, you should be able to notice that you arent needing as much xanax or taking it less often. That is the Wellbutrin helping to calm your anxiety level. After a while, you may actually be able to not take any xanax or you may find yourself being able to handle the anxiety without a chemical fixer

I believe it can be. I typed "Lexapro Rash" into google, and found many, many people claiming to have gotten a rash from the drug. I myself took lexapro for 3 days, and suddenly developed a rash that's covered ~3/4 of my upper body.

However, to argue the Lexapro side of the story, in their FDA expieriment, their were no cases of rashes in any of their subjects.

Either way, I believe that it can cause rashes, and that it's merely left to chance as to whether the person will develop a rash.
