Why are Apple computers used less than PCs in large companies?
apple computers aren't much more expensive than a PC when you calculate the costs you will have to make when you have a PC. If you buy a mac, there is already software installed that you really need. You maybe will have to install a version of Microsoft office fo mac or iwork but that's it ! No more costs! But if you buy a PC, you will have to buy Microsoft office, an anti-virus program (not needed on a mac!), more software you will need to run your PC well. And after a time you will need to upgrade your PC with new hardware, because if you update from windows vista to windows 7, it could be that your computer has not enough RAM memory... But if you update the software on a mac than nothing has to change with your hardware. If you count up all this cost you will have to make than a mac won't be more expensive.

Numerous companies DO NOT outsource work to other countries. If you no longer wish to transcribe, you could consider a position as a QA editor, speech recognition editor, production supervisor, or recruiter to name a few. Your options are many. A background in medical transcription will open many doors for you in medical support. These might include positions in the Medical Records Department in a hospital, office manager in a physician's office, high level secretary to physicians, especially in teaching hospitals, and the list goes on. Some of these jobs are high paying as well. At one point in my career I decided to take a break from medical transcription and I landed a job as "physician coordinator" for a large Emergency Medicine Group. My job was to "babysit" over 200 Emergency Physicians in several states. This was a really hectic job and travel was involved. I loved it but it didn't fit well with raising my family

If you need to use such a disc with a modern Mac then you will need to buy an external USB floppy disc drive. If you mean a 3 inch mini DVD then again you will need some form of external drive to use such a disc or an old Mac with a pop out drawer to hold the disc. (The) First way (is to) Go to (the) control panel, (and) click on Add/Remove Programs(.) There you will find all installed programs in that add/remove programs(sic)
select quicktime 7.2 click on uninstall. Second method click on (the) start menu, (then) click on programs-> click on quicktime, (There should be a period here instead of a comma... but I shouldn't bother anymore.) there (caps.)you will find uninstall(.) click (caps.) on that. IF you are unable to uninstall by above two methods, Then
Insert quick time CD there it will ask modify, add, or remove
then click option remove and press next, it will sucessfull removed. (You know, on your Macintosh. This will all happen. On your Apple computer.) Answer Install QuickTime 7.5.5 into the same folder where QuickTime 7.2 is found. When asked, enter an administrator's password.
