It all depends on your preference. Both are good agile fighters, but thiefs and better pickpocketers then assassins. Assassins just have a better critical strike when attacking from behind or while in stealth

Brotherhood by far, Revelations was a complete let down!

I am a massive AC fan and I can say the 2nd one is by far the best but Brotherhood smashes revelations every day
