Henry Ford Actually, Cadillac was founded by Henry M. Leland, who was one of Henry Ford's top engineers. When the "Henry Ford Company" (not to be confused with the Ford Motor Company) was dissolved, Leland, partnered with William Murphy and Lemuel Bowen, used the companies machinery to produce a car using Leland's one cylinder engine, powering a Ford designed vehicle. That car was to be named Cadillac.

You left out the main ingredient. There is vacuum hoses for the PCV valve, the power brake booster, air conditioner and emissions. They are all on the engine under the hood.

On my 1985 FWD 4.1L Fleetwood, it is behind the engine on top of the exhaust. I would recommend a 7/8" O2 Sensor socket, a one foot 3/8" Drive extension, and a 3/8" ratchet with a long handle, as this will be quite difficult to remove (if mine was like others). When installing the new one, do not tighten it too much.

The 5.7 in your Cadillac is a Chevrolet LT1. The same motor that came in an Impala SS and Buick Roadmaster. It uses an "OPTI SPARK" distributor that runs off the front of the motor. There is no timing adjustment that can be made with the unit. The engine management computer controls the timing and adjusts the spark as ou drive. If you are having timing problems, the OPTI SPARK needs to be replaced.

HAD THE SAME PROBLEM IT IS YOUR "TPS" SENSOR located on the TBI. Lots of things, but most probably carb or air related. In cold weather only ? Add the choke related problems. As for carb or air, I'd start checking the vacuum lines for leaks or kinks, because they are simpler to check and cheaper to replace than carb details. Check also vacuum to other than engine-related matters (all vacuum reservoirs, lines to air cond. and emergency brake replace, etc). Then next before doing things with the carb, change the air and gas filters -especially if You've never done this before. Then the carb, possibly accelerator pump, linkage problems, clogged passages, wrong fuel bowl level (doesn't sound like this kast problem to me but check anyway) Sorry, didn't notice Your "1991". Then there probably isn't a carb but injection... check the vacuum and the filters anyway, then the next I'd do would be to pour an injector cleaner bottle in the fuel tank, take the car to a longer ride, and see if the takeoff improves...

Usually when you get the radio the place you bought it will have a wiring harness that will fit the car. If not then go to a radio installation shop and ask for one. This will then plug right into the factory car harness and then you connect the radio to this harness. That's it. Good luck.

You can also have an internal leak as in a leaking head gasket. Have this repaired ASAP, or you may do serious damage to the engine.

You have to ground the ALDL. The ALDL is located under the dash board, in the center.

To ground the ALDL, you take a paper clip and insert the ends into the two right most terminals on the top row of the connector. Turn the ignition to RUN, but do not start the engine.

The check engine light will begin to flash two digit codes. The first code will be 12 and will be presented as Flash/pause/2 flashes. Each code will come up three times.

there is no button inside the car pull the license plate down in rear and fill her up.

The park release lever is right above the parking brake. I need to push in on my parking brake a little and then pull on the release for it to release it.

What is it you are using to determine its not charging? The charging system includes basically the generator with its belts, battery, the charging "relay" included in the generator and the wiring. If the battery and battery cables are new and it does not charge at all (battery goes dead in an hour's drive or quicker) then visually check if there's the generator belt still connected, then if it is, check visually that the cables behind the generator are all ok. The first fix if these do not produce improvement woiuld be a repair kit (new brushes, new "relay" voltage controller, and a new bearing); these are easy to put in place after the generator is loose and opened by opening the three or four long bolts on the perimeter, but putting the thing back togethr nearly would require a manual for first-timers. Simple anyway, does not require expensive tools, and the kit is cheap (a couple of dollars). Easier and sure fix is a new generator - some tens of dollars, and includes all the small parts. Just take the generator out, disconnect cables, connect cables to the new generator, install and tighten the belt, and see the lights ! remember also to disconnect the battery before starting to fixture with the generator, and to connect it in the end in order to make the car run... The two car garage carport (2 car garage) is typically 22' width x 24' Depth x 12' High. A long bed truck may not fit if you have a 4 foot "shelf" near the back wall.

Another standard size carport is the 19 1/2 by 19 1/2. Yes cars fit, but you will have trouble opening car doors between them and walking between or beside the cars (especially if you want to use the garage for any type of storage).

If you require a larger carport, let's say for an RV or to store a big boat, you'll definitely want to consider a two car garage large enough to allow ample room for walk around and clearance for your roof mount a/c and ladder rack in the back.

An easy way to figure up a rough estimate (for the carport size needed), is to open the doors on the vehicle on both sides and take a measurement from door to door. It's also a good idea to measure the height and length of each vehicle to be stored. Allow at least two extra feet front and back for opening the trunk and ease of walk around.

Look under the hood,passenger side at the firewall, you will see the blower motor,directly to the right going towards the drivers side ,you will see the blower control module, then the little small relay will be the next part over.

1. Turn the ignition key to the RUN position.
2. Fully depress and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
3. The CHANGE OIL light should flash two times and then go out.
4. Turn the ignition OFF.
If the CHANGE OIL light comes on and stays on for 5 seconds, it did not reset. You'll need to reset the system again. 1991-1993 Deville, & FWD Fleetwood
When "CHANGE OIL SOON" light is illuminated
Press and hold the "RESET" and "RANGE" buttons on the Fuel Data Center for 5 to 60 seconds. When the buttons are released, the light will flash four times if it has been reset.
