cant remember what its called but check where the hoses go into the fire wall into the heater core and look for a valve looking thing... that starts to open when you adjust the temp setting on your heater...if that is stuck closed or brocken or blocked no hot water will go into the heater core wich in turn gives no heat....

No one answer, as there is no one construction worker. It will depend on the craft that you work in, and WHERE you are working. A skilled crane operator in a major city may make 8-9 times as much as an unskilled laborer in a rural area. Welders may make more than carpenters, electricians more than masons, etc.

leaking heater core

Radiator drain plug (petcock) is located on the passenger side of the radiator underneath on the very bottom of the radiator.

I HAVE A 1988 CADDI BROUGHAM I PUT SOME 15 INCH REVERSE DEEPPDISH CROME 100 SPOKES ON THEM. THE FRONT FIT FAIRLY WELL BUT THE REAR WHEELS DID NOT FIT AT ALL. It can cost you a lot of money to buy and install the air bags for any vehicle. On older model vehicles its important to know that you may be only getting a temporary fix to your problem.

There is a better way!! Strutmasters.com has a non air conversion kit for your vehicle that can save you a lot of time and money. I got one for my Lincoln a couple months ago and I have had no more air trouble! It cost a fraction of the amount that replacing the air on the vehicle would have cost me. where the speedo cable connects to the transmission

typically rear seats have two clips by either front edge where the seat meets the body. lifting up on these points (sometimes with force) releases the front edges. now some vehicles have bolts retaining the rear edge of the seat beneith the backrests. inspect for these bolts before removing the front edge of the seat. also inspect for bolts on the front edges beneath the carpet. if the carpet does not look to be moveable don't force or tear it. with many vehicles not all removal information is available through repair programs such as all data, or mitchell.

If you do not have the manual, you will need to either find an image of one online, purchase one online or find someone who has one that they can show to you, either online or offline. That truck should already have dual alternators on it. I have six F-450 2WD service trucks in my fleet (a MAJOR West Coast Fire department) & all of them have dual alts standard- in fact, Ford built them no other way. The top alternator is about 140 amps & the bottom unit (right/lower in front of the exhaust manifold) is 120 amps. If for some reason you have a single alternator set-up (one large one centered on top), then you can get the complete dual set-up with wiring from a wrecked/salvaged E350 or E450 Ford Rescue Ambulance package. Get the whole enchilada: serpentine belt pullies, idlers, A/C pulley, W/P pulley, tensioner, etc. The dual alternator package may have a wider belt on the E Series than the F Series & belt width is critical. There's a difference in the wiring harness, too. Good luck.

Well, of all cars including imported ones, I'll say that the most comfortable vehicle of all time is the current Lincoln Towncar (for the backseat passengers especially). Why else does so many livery companies choose the Towncar vs. everything else. I've driven and traveled in big trucks, SUVs, compact cars, and other sedans. But of all types of vehicles, the Towncar is best for comfort. Well, when it comes to power, I prefer the torque of a Ford Super Duty. However, for a reliable, comforting ride, I'll always go for a Towncar.

You can Actually. You just need a good custom fabricator, and/or go to a junk yard and find a good bench seat that has close to the same measurements as the back area of the car.

unplug the wire on the right side of the firewall it should be close to your heater core hoses it is a small wire a male@female connector unplug it . now unloosen your distributor set your timing to 0 Titan up your distributor now plug up the wire.remember the car must be running to do this.now once you have done. unplug the negative side of your battery for 30sec to remove any bad codes.p.s remember to start car before you start this job.

I would soak the E-brake cables overnight with a good penetrant then the next day pull the rear wheels and begin working the cables back and forth to free them up. Chances are you will need to replace these cables in the near future to avoid this corrosion problem.

Begin by removing the alternator belt. Remove the wiring harness from the back of your alternator. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new Cadillac alternator.
