First thing to check is coolant level in radiator ( not the overflow jar ) , NO HEAT. If you are savvy, feel heater rubber coolant hoses going into and out of heater core. If neither or only one of them is warm , PROBLEM. Open radiator cap ONLY when cold to check level. Make hose temp check at engine operating temp. It could be a bunch more problem . but these are the obvious, and first ones to check. Good luck

Older part no. for a Chilton book is 7462, the current book is no. 28260; don't know the Haynes part no.s. these are available through amazon marketplace in used versions for about 1 to 5 USd plus shipping, and the current printing might be available at car parts stores too. Finally, Cadillac has offered their own, much more detailed manuals for different years; these can still be found at eBay for around 10 to 40 dollars.

With great difficulty. ha ha. First you must remove the turn signal / cornering lamp next to the headlight. Then you can (barely) reach in and detach the locking ring behind the bulb by turning it counter clockwise. Then the bulb and socket can be moved outwards. Unplug the bulb from the socket, plug in the new one and reinstall it as you took the old one out. Be sure not to touch the glass on the new bulb; skin oil will cause it to crack when it heats up.
