How do you fix the sliding door on a 1993 Ford Aerostar it was slammed and now it is stuck. Rod worn and slips thru latch lever 45angle.Vice grip rod and hammer 3 raps to front and push back to open?

the standard ford door latch is at the back of the door at a 45 degree angle. the rod and bushing are worn and bent because of the angle. take the inside panel off. disconnect the rod from the operating handle by opening the orange latch on the plastic connector. if it breaks buy a new connector or get some 6mm nuts and pipe strap and a bolt with nuts and make a new connector. grab the operating rod connected to the latch with vice grips and hammer 3 raps forward to get the rod back in the latch lever and push it back to release the latch. clean latch with wd and then spray with white grease. adjust the operating rod to give it enough travel to avoid doing all this again. grdbrg

and pull up on the latch with your finger and push out on the back side of the door it may take a few times but should open after you get it open put some oil or wd40 on the latch and around the lock to get things moving good this should work

Why is it illegal to copy music on a CD disk?

Depending where you live on the planet it is and it isn't if the CD belongs to you.

If you are in USA then you have the right to make a backup of YOUR disc YOU bought for personal use (You cant lend it to friends or give it away). This copy is to protect your investment against damage. It's called the "Fair usage policy".

If you are in Europe then it depends, Here in UK you can't make a copy, in Holland you can make a copy as many times as you like since royalties are charged on recording mediums.

The whole copyright issue revolves around how to make payments to the artists for their work and pay for the the distribution and promotion systems.

If you make copies of music and give it away (File sharing) or sell it (Piracy) then the artist and the music industry doesn't make any money.

Eventually this ends up in the music industry not investing in artists. This has a knock on effect in the studio business where recording engineers and studios go out of business.

The end result is that you will end up with unoriginal "manufactured" pop music since the promoters will eventually only invest in artists who they can guarantee that sales will outweigh the pirated copy losses.

The only other method of guaranteeing sales is to move the medium to a storage system that is (less or) un-copiable.

Can DVDs be decrypted without leaving a trace on the original disc?

Yes, DVDs are "read only memory" - which means your DVD drive only reads information from the disc (unless you have a DVD burner or "writer," but a burner will only burn to a disc if you specifically request it to.) Bottom line: no matter what you try to do, the disc will not be altered - unless you specifically tell you DVD program to burn to the disc.

What are the CD player wire colours mean?

How do hidden tracks on CDs work?

There are a few ways to accomplish "hidden tracks": 1) Lets say the last song in the CD, on Track #14 for instance, is 04:00 (four) minutes long. to insert a "hidden track" (whose length is 02:00 [two] minutes) you would insert 3 minutes of silence (or any other amount of time) right at the end of the last song (but still in Track #14)and right after the slince you will insert your "hidden track". At the end, Track 14 will be 09:00 (nine) minutes long because we have [4 minutes music] + [3 minutes silence] + [2 minutes hidden track] An example for this method can be found on Korn's "Life Is Peachy" [see: http://www.answers.com/topic/antichrist-superstar] 2) Another method is similar to the method above, just that instead of putting the "hidden track" at the end of the last song concatinated with some preceding silence, there are "buffer tracks", each of which with a few seconds of silence, and the "hidden track" is really the last track of the album but to reach it you have to go through some silence or skip a few tracks manually. An example for this method can be found on Marilyn Manson's "Antichrist Superstar" [see: http://www.answers.com/topic/antichrist-superstar] 3) Different media segment. In our days a CD might not only contain audio data - it might as well be a regular computer CD containing other types of data. In that case, it is possible to have a "hybrid" CD that once put inside a CD player will function as a regular music album, but when insereted to a computer can function as a regular PC-CD and contain more music, info and sometimes even videos. An example for this method can be found on Korn's "Life Is Peachy" [see: http://www.answers.com/topic/antichrist-superstar] 4) In the happy Vynil days some albums have been reported to contain hidden tracks that can be heard when playing the record backwards at certain speeds (33\45)...

Why the dollar is called as Green back?

The term "greenback" originated from the green ink used on the reverse of the United States Note, a form of paper currency issued during the American Civil War. The greenbacks were introduced to help finance the war effort and were not backed by gold or silver, hence the term "greenback" to distinguish them from other types of currency.
