the stereo is probably done. it would probably cost more money to have the stereo looked at than to buy a new radio.

there is a button on the back/bottom of the player that you slide back n forth. once you do that, it will work.

Jack the car up and secure on axle stands etc. Remove the road wheel. Remove the pad retaining wire clip with pliers. Remove the 2 plastic caps at the rear of the brake caliper, then the two 7mm Allen bolt sliders. Pull the caliper with the pads forward and away from the disc. Then remove the 2 larger Allen bolts securing the caliper carrier to the hub. Now remove the 5mm Allen bolt securing the disc to the hub and give the edge of the disc a bash with a rawhide mallett etc and it should come straight off.

I have the same problem. I took my car to the dealership today and I was told the the fiber optic wire that connect the dashboard radio to the CD changer has a shortage. I was told that the whole motherboard will need to be replaced. $2700.00 lol!

I had the same problem with my 02. had to replace the EGR Valve.

ran in to same problem with 93 escort. went to ford escort owners association (feoa.net). my problem turned out to be a vacuum leak. the forums will help narrow down problem. there is also a way to check and find out error codes on the site.

It will say that if you have the incorrect CD inserted. you might want to insert the correct disk in order for it to work properly

No. The cylinder head on the Type R and GSR are different. The bolt and coolant holes will not match up. However, the Type R's intake manifold will fit a 99-00 Civic SI because their cylinder heads are similar.

You can install programs on a memory stick by inserting the stick into a USB port on your computer, waiting while the device is recognized by your computer. Once recognized, you can locate the drive and double click to open it. Locate the program on the stick that you want to install on your computer, right click it and choose Run.

It could be a dirty lens for the laser, could be a CD that is in upside down, could be a bad spindle motor, bad sled motor, etc. Try a CD player cleaner and see if that helps. If not, ask somebody to get you a new unit, along with the adaptor for Christmas.

once a CD is stuck in the player, the player is no good. to take the player out,you have two covers on each side of the player covering a pair of holes. you need to purchase these removal pins from an auto part store like oreilly's or a Mazda dealership can remove for you sometimes for free. to remove the CD, you will have to remove the top half of the screws of the player and remove the CD hold down

If you are talking about CDs you have burnt or copied on a computer, it should play them. You may need to change the format to get the right ones. Most CD players will play WMV & MP3. If it's the stock CD player that came with the car, it won't play MP3's as this is newer technology than 1991. Any music file with the CDA extension will work. These are much larger files and your CD will only hold about 15-20, whereas an MP3 CD can hold a couple hundred.

most CD drives have a tiny hole near where the CD goes in, just stick something in the hole, like a paperclip or something. Push it into the hole and it will force the CD out. It might not have the hole, I think only computer style CD drives have it.

i have an 98 accord & u have to roll the window down so u can lock trhe door from the inside then stand on the out side & unlock the dorr with the key then lock it back then unlock it again but hold the key down for 5 seconds when u do it & it should deactivate hope iot helps u
