Yes you can install Chrome OS onto a computer with a DVD player, but I don't think Google is going to invest any time into supporting a technology that is going to be dead within a few years. you must be confused. A CD-RW is a compact disk that, when put into a special drive, can have data written to it. Because it is rewritable (RW) the disk can have new data written over the old. A DVD RW drive will read any sort of CD or DVD (except blue-ray but some might) and it will also burn to a writable or rewritable CD or DVD.

It depends on weather the Cd-rom was closed after it was burned. During the burning process you have the option of adding files at a later date or closing the session. Once the CD is closed you cannot add any other files.

You need a cassette deck that has DBX decoding. To find a deck that has this, go to www.vintagecassette.com. On this website, you can search specificaly for DBX decks. Then you need a RCA (Red and White plug) to 3.5mm Plug (the standard audio plugs found in headphones and such) cable. You also need a PC with a Line-In port (usually colored blue). And at last, you need audio editing software. I recommend Audacity, this is free and very versatile. You record from the deck to your PC with Audacity (don't forget to enable DBX on the deck), and then export the tracks to either WAV or MP3. Then use your favorite CD burning software to burn the WAVs/MP3s to CD.
