I get paid 8$ an hour. Plus at my gym coaches get to keep the money we make doing private lessons. But it varies greatly from gym to gym

Usually Cheerleading judges use not only your cheerleading skill but your academic performance when deciding who makes the squad! So, try your hardest to work hard, study, & do your homework! It makes the coach see that you are a hard worker, you are reliable, & that you would be a great addition to his/her squad. :)

If you have low grades by time the "Mandatory Meeting" for cheer comes around, make sure you push to get those grades up there. Often anyone who has below a C isn't a very good candidate, no matter your skill. Benching is usually the action for bad grades & they want to see that they won't have to do that to you!

In competitive cheerleading, levels are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and very rarely 6. 6 is a level for college students

The mascot is the person who dresses up as the team's symbol (ex: tiger, indian, bear, etc.)

The cheerleader is the one who cheers and pumps up the crowd on the sidelines during games and at pep rallies.

The mascot is essentially a cheerleader, but doesn't participate in quite as much in competitions and such.

(I asked the question)I am a competitive cheerleader and before I go on I get super nervous, during the routine I end up getting so nervous (plus the flipping and jumping which don't help) that I end up puking on or right after I get off the floor... I really need a cure for this or my parents won't let me cheer anymore and I would hate that since I love cheering:)

If you want to be/look more advanced, you can do a one man stunt, involving 2 people, or you can do other stunts that have 4 people. A flyer, 2 bases, and a backspot. By taking a front spot away, it is harder but adds difficulty points and gives you extra people to add for another stunt, or tumbling, etc.

Im not sure if its spelt as 'POM' but around here we spell it as 'PUM' and that means vagina.

I depends on what cheerleading team your trying to get in...if your trying to get in Pop Wanner its going to be $100.00 but if your trying to get in Allstars I really dont know

you have to crawl very slowly but some times you just stand up anytime.also you have to where a mascot costume but the hard part is to go backl to dorm room if yo try to click on something else on the map it wont work it is super hard to go back in your room.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get your facts straight.

It all depends on how short your hair is. If your hair goes down to your shoulders, I'd advise a ponytail, which can be dressed up in the shorter-hairstyles described here. If your hair reaches your chin, French braids look really pretty, or you can leave it down. Cheer laws state that hair cannot be on the shoulders, so if it doesn't reach your shoulders, it's okay. If your hair is any shorter than chin length, get some of the teeny hair bands (found at pretty much any general store or hair store) and do some small braids in random sections or hair, if you can. In any length of hair, twisties look cool. Take a small piece of hair at the crown of your hairline and twist it back towards the back of your head, adding more hair as you go and twisting all the time. Be sure to secure it with one of the teeny hairbands. In all of these styles, glitter is not recommended. Although pretty, it can get in someone's eye when you're cheering and not only does it really hurt, it makes it difficult to see, which is bad for stunting, dancing, and tumbling. Ribbons can be used if they are secure; you don't want anyone to slip on fallen ribbons. If you are competing, it is a good idea to try for a uniform hairstyle, having either all French braids, or twisties, or whatever you want to do, but everybody's hair looking generally the same.

To be a cheerleader for the Houston Texans one should have some dance or cheerleader experience. One should audition an open tryout when they have yearly search for new talent.

That is the initial pay rate for a person who is not an hourly employee.

do not go with anything that sounds like a cheerleading team. Do not go with something like skydancers or the bluebonnets. go with something fierce!
