The Choctaw people live in Mississippi-Southeastern U.S.A and also in Oklahoma. There are smaller groups located through out the U.S. Historically the Choctaws believe they may have been created at Nanih Waiya near the center of the state of Mississippi or that they came from the West hundreds perhaps thousands of years ago. Choctaws may have been the decendants of the mound builders who were re-organized after the mound builders socities collapsed. Artifacts of the mound builders suggest a culture simliar to central Americans. Some historians suggest that the mound builders had their origins from the pre-columbian civiliazations in Mexico or vice-versa.

That would be like asking you what the settlers of the original colonies are like. Native Americans are as wide and varied, in belief, culture and conduct as your own peoples. Several Natives will fall into a few classifications, some are considered derogatory in nature, such as: * Pret-Indians, or Apples: normally used to denote someone claiming to be "Native American" but showing no signs of the cultural differences between the two. NOTE: These are very derogatory terms. * Modern Traditionalists: Those who try to maintain traditional teachings in concert with the modern world. * Traditionalists (AKA: Blanketasses, Derogatory) People who refuse to have anything to do with white society; at least at some level.

Do native American men like white women?
Absolutely we do. We love white women. The most important thing though would be to understand that Natives have a radically different culture than most other ethnicities. If the guy is from the reservation he basically comes from a third world country. If he doesn't then he might identify more with mainstream culture and really see nothing different from himself and you. Usually there's an equal mixture of both circumstances here and that means that the most important thing is to respect his culture and from there get to know him. If you're christian this can sometimes leave you at odd ends as some Natives practice a radically different spirituality if they're completely immersed in the culture. I'm a Native guy and I like white women but the biggest issue I always have when I want to get to know a white woman or ask her out is whether or not she'll be cool about my culture.
I'd also put the caution out there that although it is a very tolerant society, it isn't entirely and you have to ask yourself if you can handle some of the crap you're may get albeit rarely, for being with a Native guy. That means both sides. Some Natives, particularly the misguided youth of the culture, have a deep mistrust of white people and are racist against them. White people are going to have issues with your Native man, because in some instances he will be at a disadvantage when it comes to the professional world unless he's in college, has a degree or is in the military because without any of those people usually do discriminate when it comes to hiring. (although this is not an excuse for him to not have a job.) After all that if you can still bring him home to meet the folks, then it's all good.
